Mark has over 30 years’ experience in financial planning and wealth management.
He was an Independent Financial Adviser for around 10 years before joining St. James's Place in 1999. Having built up a significant Senior Partner Practice over the last 19 years, Mark, his PA Amy and their clients joined the Nick Jones Wealth Planning Practice in February 2018. In 2021 Nick Jones Wealth Planning then merged with Throgmorton Associates Wealth Management Ltd. Working together a number of times on client matters during the last ten years ensured that Mark and Nick fully understand how each other works and appreciate that they share the same drive to deliver an excellent service.
Mark’s individual and personal handling of his clients’ financial affairs is key to his approach and much of his business comes through recommendation from long standing, current clients.

Married to Chris for 35 years, Mark has three children, two grandchildren and lives near Shrewsbury.
In his spare time, he enjoys horse riding and cycling – in fact, Mark’s most recent cycling challenge involved him completing the Deloitte Ride Across Brittain 2021 event. This epic 9 day challenge started in Land’s End and ended up, 970 miles later, in John O’Groats and Mark was delighted to have raised £5,500 for Macmillan Cancer Support. Collectively, the event raised £1.3million for various charities across the UK.
