Ethan’s aim is to help young professionals plan for their financial future – whether that’s with their Investment planning, Retirement planning, Protection or Mortgages. Creating successful, long-term working relationships, having a positive impact on clients’ lives, and being a trusted individual is something very important to him.

Ethan attended Loughborough University and achieved a degree in Management. Soon after graduating, he began working towards the Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial planning through the Chartered Insurance Institute – a qualification that he now holds; along with the Level 3 Certificate in Mortgage advice (also through the CII).

As part of his degree course, he spent a year with Throgmorton within the Operations Team, so he was no stranger to the organisation when he joined the advising team May 2026, after spending time at the SJP Financial Adviser Academy.

Ethan is very much inspired by his dad Nick (one of the Directors), who has been advising with SJP since Ethan was 2! Because of this, Ethan has seen the invaluable difference that trusted financial advice can have on clients’ circumstances.

Outside of work, Ethan enjoys spending time with his partner, Freya, and their Jack-Chi. He loves travelling to new places, both in Europe and beyond, and has a big list of places to visit with Freya!

Ethan is a lifelong season ticket holder at Shrewsbury Town FC and he enjoys (sometimes!) watching them play; he still attends matches with his dad, brother and Grandad. His next challenge is to lower his golf handicap as much as possible, something which is still very much a work in progress!
