Emily Richardson

DipPFS

Emily joined Throgmorton in 2019 and has been working as a Senior Paraplanner for the past 6 years, working very closely behind the scenes with the advisers within the Practice. Prior to this, she worked in the financial services industry for over 18 years and was already a Diploma qualified adviser. Working as a paraplanner within Throgmorton, Emily realised that she missed talking directly with clients to understand their goals and aspirations in relation to their finances and in 2025 she decided to return to advising clients and is delighted to now be part of the adviser team within Throgmorton.

Emily advises on many aspects of wealth management including investment planning, retirement planning and protection and prides herself on being very friendly and approachable and providing her clients with great ongoing financial planning advice. Emily enjoys analysing clients existing investments and pensions in order to find solutions to their needs - it’s fair to say that Emily is a numbers person … maybe that’s due to her Degree in Maths! She relishes working as part of a team, so she can bounce off, share ideas and learn from others as there is a wealth of experience and knowledge within the team.

Outside of work Emily enjoys spending time with her family as well as travelling and visiting new places, both in the UK and abroad. She also loves to cook for her family and friends.
