Becky Furber

AdvDipFA, LIBF Chartered Associate

Becky joined St. James's Place in 2021 as a fully Diploma-qualified adviser and, after taking on additional studies, her dedication and hard work has paid off – she achieved Chartered Associate status in early 2026. This qualification will help to enhance the high standard of guidance she already provides to her clients.

Before moving into financial advice, Becky spent more than two decades in senior operational and hospitality roles, demonstrating her ability to connect with people from all walks of life. This experience underpins her friendly and approachable manner, along with her commitment to listen to her clients’ needs.

Becky takes pride in gaining a deep understanding of her clients’ goals and priorities, fostering long-term relationships that allow her to deliver tailored financial planning advice at every stage of life. She advises across a wide range of wealth management areas, including savings and investments, retirement planning, and asset preservation.

She has a particular passion for providing clear, straightforward guidance on the often complex areas of Inheritance Tax and Estate Planning. Becky firmly believes in helping clients make their money work smarter, harder, and more tax-efficiently for themselves and for future generations while demonstrating empathy and supporting clients through some of life’s most challenging moments.

Outside of work, she enjoys keeping active at the gym and playing badminton with her son. A lot of her time is also spent travelling around Shropshire for her son’s football training and matches ... although she does balance this with time for friends and the occasional holiday!

Specialism: Inheritance Tax and Estate Planning

The value of an investment with St. James's Place will be directly linked to the performance of the funds you select and the value can therefore go down as well as up. You may get back less than you invested.
