Ethan Jones – what a journey!

Ethan’s back …. but this time as a fully qualified Wealth Management Consultant!

Having previously worked at the Throgmorton office in Shrewsbury as part of his University degree placement year, Ethan has returned and is “delighted to be back and to have become part of the advising team”.

Soon after finishing his degree, Ethan began working towards the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning; he successfully achieved this qualification and has subsequently gone on to gain his Certificate in Mortgage Advice as well.

To complete his journey to becoming a Wealth Management Consultant at Throgmorton, Ethan joined the St. James's Place Financial Adviser Academy in early 2026. This enabled him to learn about the latest updates regarding compliance and the financial services industry, as well as technology and processes within SJP. As he’d already achieved his DipPFS qualification, he only had to complete Term 2, before joining the advising team at TAWM in May 2026.

Ethan says “I've always been inspired by my dad, Nick, and it's amazing to join him at Throgmorton. I have seen the invaluable difference that trusted financial advice can have on our clients' circumstances, and I am very excited to have the opportunity to make that positive impact on people's lives myself. I am looking forward to seeing what both Throgmorton and I can achieve together!"
