Charlene Smart - Solihull PSS of the Year Award

Recognition from St. James's Place regional office in Solihull for our Practice Manager, Charlene Smart as she’s awarded ‘PSS (Practice Support Staff) of the Year’ for this SJP Region.

This national St. James's Place event is a peer-to-peer recognition event that gives everyone the opportunity to nominate our colleagues to receive an award.  The winners were decided by a panel of judges made up of the National Operations PSS Team, PSS Development Team and the LMBU Operations Team. There are four categories you can nominate for and one individual from each SJP location will be awarded ‘PSS of the year’ and this time it was Charlene!

On hearing the news, Stephen Hadley, Director and Co-Founder of Throgmorton Associates said to Charlene “This is fantastic news to hear. Well done and congratulations. It’s great to know that your hard work and dedication is recognised at national level. You should be very proud. This is a great achievement personally but also has a positive impact on the firm as a whole which is excellent and a real positive for us. I’m sure all of us will be thinking the same. Thank you for your continued support and once again Congratulations!”

These sentiments were echoed by the rest of the team from both offices.

On hearing about her award, Charlene said “I was delighted to have received the PSS of the Year award for the Solihull Location, to be recognised at such a prestigious event was wonderful.  We have a great team at Throgmorton, and I am immensely proud of what we have achieved over the last 12 years”.
